The Frutas de Ouro Agricultural Cooperative was founded on April 23, 1998, in São Joaquim, by a group of 34 apple producers.
With the aim of adding value and building their own brand, the group of producers undertook and began, through cooperativism, organizing the youngest apple production cooperative in the Santa Catarina mountain region.
